CURRENT NEWS:
ROTOTILLING RESCHEDULED Sorry for the inconvenience, but better gardeners than I have convinced me that rototilling should be rescheduled to next Saturday, May 20. Given the 40-plus hours of rain we just received, while good for the garden, rototilling the wet soil will only compact it and be more detrimental for your garden than beneficial.
If you scheduled a time for rototilling tomorrow, your time slot will be carried over until next week. If you can’t make it next week and need to cancel, let me know.

WORK DAY REMINDER On the flip side, all this rain will make weeding a breeze. Our work day is still scheduled for tomorrow 9:00 to noon. And it’s not all weeding! See you at the garden.

SIGN UP TO HELP WITH BOKASHI
All gardeners are asked to participate in one Bokashi session during the season. One of the Bokashi team will be present at each session to guide the process and answer any bokashi questions you may have. Each session takes about 45 minutes. To schedule your session:
- Sign in to the Hours site, https://www.trackitforward.com/site/rosedale-community-garden
- Click on the Events Sign Up tab in the top menu,
- Search through the listed Bokashi dates(it’s every Saturday)
- Click the Bokashi date that fits your schedule.
- Click on the orange Sign Up box on the right hand side and sign up.
