CURRENT NEWS:

STREET SWEEPING REMINDERNow that it is spring, street sweeping has resumed and will continue until November.

  • Southbound lane of Logan is the first Tuesday of the month (west side of street)
  • Northbound lane of Logan is the first Wednesday of the month (east side of street)

Don’t be reminded the hard way like some of us have been.

LOCK. THE. GATE.

Lock the gate, lock the gate, lock the gate.

And check to make sure that it is secure when you leave.

Once more for those in the back:  LOCK THE GATE.ROTOTILLINGThe garden is planning to rent a rototiller for anyone who would like to use it to till their plot.  Tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 13, we’ll send out a notice when the schedule is confirmed.  A sign up notice will go out at that time so that we may schedule those who want to use the tiller.

WORK DAYOur first work day of the season will be on Saturday, May 13, 9:00 to noon.
CHIPPER MAINTENANCE

If you signed up for the maintenance team, or even if you just have a truck, the compost team would like to have the chipper taken in for maintenance before the composting season gets underway.  Please contact Gary Alexander, gary.alexander99@comcast.net if you can help take the chipper to the repair shop.

WATER

We know that everyone is anxious to have the water turned on.  There are still a couple of repairs that Parks needs to complete on the system, but we are hopeful that the water will be on in a week or so.  A notice will go out to the garden as soon as a turn-on date is confirmed.  In the meantime, you’ll still need to bring in your own water.
