STRAW DELAYED
Straw delivery delayed: Unfortunately, the delivery truck broke down and the company was unable to deliver straw last week. We’ll let you know when it is rescheduled.
BOKASHI
Lots of bokashi: There’s lots of bokashi tea in the barrels and ready for use in your garden.
GARLIC UPDATE
For the garlic team, and anyone growing garlic, now is the time to cut your garlic scapes. This should also be the last week for fertilizing the garlic. Harvest is probably just two or three weeks away.

GARDEN POTLUCK – June 26th at 5 PMIt’s time for a Garden Potluck!! Please bring your favorite dish to share for a garden potluck on Sunday, June 26 at 5 pm. Beverages and serving items will be provided. A sign up will be posted in the kiosk at the entrance to the Garden. For more info, contact Ana Tolentino, 303-949-6066. Rain date, Sunday, July 3.

All gardeners are asked to participate in one Bokashi session during the season. One of the Bokashi team will be present at each session to guide the process and answer any bokashi questions you may have. Each session takes about 45 minutes. To schedule your session:
- Sign in to the Hours site, https://www.trackitforward.com/site/rosedale-community-garden
- Click on the Events Sign Up tab in the top menu,
- Search through the listed Bokashi dates(it’s every Saturday)
- Click the Bokashi date that fits your schedule.
- Click on the orange Sign Up box on the right hand side and sign up.
