Enjoy an evening of live music, tastings of the garden’s 13 locally-grown gourmet garlic varietals, cooking challenge, sampling a garlic-inspired tasting menu, and adult beverages.
Rosedale gardeners have planted and harvested 13 different varieties of gourmet garlic. That’s more than 2000 individual cloves!! Carefully hand-planted one by one last Fall; lovingly tended all Winter and Spring; hand-harvested, cleaned, tagged, and bundled. Now you get to try them. Did we mention that it was all done by hand?
All Rosedale gourmet garlic varieties will be available for sale.

Tickets are $15 and include 2 beverages (wine and beer, included), garlic tastings, and sample foods.
All proceeds benefit Rosedale Community Garden and help us buy things like: organic compost, organic straw for mulch, tools, water to keep our gardens growing, and many other items large and small.

Event partners include The Post Chicken and Beer, who is generously donating the beer for the evening, as well as Sweet Action Ice Cream who will be creating a special Rosedale garlic ice cream, and Keith’s Coffee Bar, Trompeau Bakery providing baguettes, and Pajama Baking Company baking up the special Rosedale garlic bread.
The Post Chicken and Beer is a new neighbor, located at 2200 S. Broadway, opening to the public in early November. Your neighborhood chicken joint with lots of other non-chicken goodness. Offering Colorado-style fried chicken, farm-veggie bowls, fish fry and prime rib nights, and the best chicken pot pie you may ever put in your mouth.
Sweet Action Ice Cream is made by hand with fresh, natural Colorado dairy and the finest ingredients. Located at 52 Broadway.
